The ceremony was full of friends and family, and Corey almost cried when he saw his beautiful new bride, Katey! She looked AMAZING! It was intimate and afterwards, there were tons of pictures and yummy food! Fred and Rachelle Johnson were also able to make it! We really appreciated their support!

May/June at the Jansen's

Hey all. So, we had a fun month!

#1: mother's day. This was the cutest b/c Kelton sang in church in the primary for the 1st time, and I cried. he knew all the songs and did great! he also made me a bracelet in primary and chase made me a fruitloop necklace in nursery (daddy helped the kids with this). Kelton also made me a little bundle of gifts at joyschool. it was my first mother's day of real made stuff from my kids, and I LOVED IT! it was the best, from the heart.

#2: Bryce's B-day. Way to go buddy! #10! He had a great b-day party with his friends, they went fishing and then came back for a bbq and presents/cake and icecream. He seemed to have SO much fun!

#3: On the 23rd, we took of to Fly to Florida. It was fun to visit with Jake's family and go to Disney World. We also got a long visit with them, b/c Jake had off Memorial Day and he also has every other friday off, so we planned it right and were gone for 10 days.

That's it!

Since then, we've had celebrated Chase's b-day (6-5), with a party last Monday and are now celebrating our 5 year anniversary on Saturday (although we went out last night for it)., we are taking the kids to an air show on Saturday and are leaving for a quick overnight camp out early tomorrow morning! Keeping busy is the way we like it!

Donohoe Update

Well, seeing as how I'm the only Donohoe on here, I thought I would update everyone here on me, Steve, and Kelly.

First off, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Science from Gordon College on May 10. Woo-Hoo!!! So, now I'm taking a "break" from school. I'm moving up to North Carolina in June and I will be taking 3 classes over the year. Then, it's the horrible process of attempting to get into pharmacy school.

Steve is getting stationed in Cherry Point, North Carolina. I'll be living with them starting in June. He will be getting deployed in January (again!!! I know). Sarah's doing well. She's excited that I'm coming (or putting on a good act! lol). Marty is reading already! He just graduated from kindergarten. He's getting so big. Heidi is talking up the storm and loves to shop. Especially for shoes, which amuses me to no end.

Kelly is living in Minnesota with my dad. She's working at Best Buy a whole lot, and then enough hours at American Eagle in the Mall of America to keep her discount! She finished her first Minnesota semester of college. I miss her so much, but she seems pretty happy up there.

Ok, well. I thought I'd throw something out there. So much from the Southern gang (excluding Kelly now hahahaha)

Shannon :)

P.S- Just so you know, I'm working in a movie theater again, and Indiana Jones is the biggest letdown of the summer and I'm still not over it even though it's been 3 days since I saw it..... :( Just thought I'd share.

Talea Talk

Hi...this is Talea. I wanted to write, so Sessa said I could. Me love everybody. I wanted everyone to know that. I got some new clothes, from a lady that Daddy helps her daughter with pitching. I really like my new swimming suit and I want to go swimming. You should have a smiley face for me. I love you. I love to sing to Rylin, for us to have a happy family. I am going to put my swimsuit on now. BYE!

Love you, Talea

P.S. I just finished my ABC's and now I know them all...so I am not afraid anymore to go to Kintergarden!

April at the Jansen's

Lots of fun with Jake's 27th Birthday...the snow finally melting the last couple days of the month, and having the family over for a few dinners. Our Dad's biological mother passed away also, so he has been making a few trips to California to get everything taken care of. It's been a busy spring, and now that we are fully into May and all of the weather of snow at least is behind us (granted, it rained like CRAZY today)...but we are all getting ready for grass here in our yard and hopefully that will kick off a great summer! Love you all! Post those stories and keep in touch!!!!!

CONGRATS COREY AND KATEY!

I'm officially congratulating Corey Patrick Choffin on being engaged to Katey Elisabeth Thompson! They are getting married on July 12th in Murray, Utah. It's going to be so much fun! We are SO excited! I can't find the right green, but their colors are a lilac purple and sage green! The ceremony is going to be so pretty! Just wanted to say we are SO excited for you Corey!!!!!

3-15-08 Kelton's 4th Birthday!

Kelton is 4 yrs old!
He had a Spiderman/Ben-10/Transformers Birthday party...and Daddy did a great job with his friends in decorating! Mommy did the cakes, and Kelton kept singing Happy Birthday to himself! He kept saying that he had a crown and he was the king. He loved having his friends over and lined up all of his presents as each one was opened! I can't believe he's SO big!

Here is Our precious little angel Rylin. This is her newest face that just makes Ryun and I laugh hysterically. Here is the story behind the ace; one day while playing with mom and dad rylin was getting sick of them pick on her, she all of a sudden did this face out of frustration and we just kept bugging her to see if it was just a one time face, but nope...she kept doing it until we stopped bugging her- we love our little baby, although she is only 6 months old and starting to get attidtude. ENJOY!!!

First step in the angry process...

Getting more angry...

UH! OH! she is doing the face, I love it!

Everyone's an Author

Now that everyone is an author- I'd like to have everyone add their picture (Choffin kids I can help if you need it) to the right side of the screen. You can change anything you'd like on the blog- just write that you did and why. You can add page elements (for those new to this), but please at least add a picture. Go to "Customize" at the top of the page, then click on "Layout", then click on "ADD PAGE ELEMENT" on the right side with the small rectangle areas and then add a picture and write your name, and a description/summary of what you are all up to lately. Just so we can always update that- so that we don't have to constantly share where we are living, kids, etc.

Have fun with it! Can't wait to see!

Welcome!

Hello all cousins! I figured this would be a great way to keep in touch without having to do the whole newsletter thing. I will register all of your emails as soon as I have a minute to be authors (give me at least 2-3 days) and then ya'll will be able to get on and write about what's going on, upload pictures and or whatever you want (please keep it PG, so the younger kids won't have to worry)! Thanks all! Hope to hear from you soon!!!!!
